Lose Weight Restricting Time Rather Than Calories

I  first heard about the amazing weight loss result that occurred when a woman reduced the time period in which she consumed calories each day to somewhere between 9 and 12 hours when I was attending a continuing education on nutrition and  the brain. It was in Pasadena in early 2012. And the woman the speaker, a psychiatrist and neurology doctor was showing pictures of as she lost weight, dramatically,was his wife. She stood up as our jaws dropped.  She also exercised daily, ate intentionally healthier meals and took nutritional supplements.   (See more, with a video, too. ->)

Now this study, discussed in the 3 minute video below, opens that door again, even wider and more specifically. This research was done with the aid of nearly 400 mice ranging from normal to obese, and given a variety of situations in both food and hours restricted from eating. This is is so hopeful and could change the life of billions of people across the globe both nutritionally and healthwise. Carry on dear researchers!
